So first of all i should probably explain the name of this blog,
I was talking to my good friend and landlady of the pub that i am the manager in the other day and we decided that we should and acutally could write a book on all the things that happen to us in the pub, that actually when we tell people they don't really believe. Describe the customers we have in and how every pub has one of the stereotypes, and really more than anything to make you guys laugh (if anyone reads it) and hopefully make your days a little more lighter in hearing what situations we get our selfs into and how we put up with all of the delightful customers we get in.
Anyway i think that you will get the gist as i go along and hopefully grow fond of some of the characters in this blog, who really are real people, of course i will not be using real names or the pub name.
If there is one line of wisdom that i can give to anyone either taking a part time job in a pub or actually going to go fully into the greatest trade known to man.... May it be that you will hear this sentence more than any other:
"The Customer Is Always Right"
If i could only get a £1 for everytime i hear it i would without a doubt be a millionare!
